I guess the most obvious question would be: What’s this site about?

Over the last year or so, I’ve noticed more and more people have been trying to make a living some money with an online business. Of course this happens every year, but that’s not my point.

More and more people are starting these businesses with not actually realizing that they are businesses. They fail to plan proper business structures, tax situations, and cash flow management.

And I have yet to find any good resources on managing the business side of running an online business — hence I started this site.

I’ll primarily address issues related to affiliate marketing, drop shipping, e-book publishing, and only a few minor scenarios. This is not the place to learn about creating a business like Amazon or eBay.

The second most obvious question would be: Why such a delay to launching the site?

Most of my online ventures come from a Web 1.0 world: basically I published static websites, either myself or I outsourced them, and let them remain the same for the post part. Occassionally I’d publish a new article or two, but they were largely ghost towns.

So, when I sat down to work on this site, I wanted to get all of the articles written before I went live. But during that process, I never really was able to finish. There was always something I could go more into detail on or another subject I wanted to cover.

That’s when I decided to launch the site as a blog with Wordpress. This way, I can publish my thoughts gradually in a more interactive medium. I have some articles already written, but I’ll release them over time in smaller, more digestable chunks.
